Bread & Butter Pudding


5 – 6 Slices of white bread, buttered with Ladismitter Cultured Butter
4 Tablespoons dried fruit – such as sultanas or raisins
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 Tablespoons marmalade or apricot jam (optional)
2 Eggs
2 Cups milk

Grease an ovenproof dish with Ladismitter Cultured Butter. Cut bread and Ladismitter Cultured Butter into triangles. Mix fruit with sugar. Arrange the bread and Ladismitter Cultured Butter, fruit and sugar in layers in the dish and spread the top layer with marmalade or apricot jam (optional).

Ladismitter Cultured Butter and soak for 1 hour. Bake in a cool oven at 150 °c for up to an hour – until the custard is set and the top is lightly browned.
