- Place the cream- or cottage cheese in a food processor and blitz for 30 seconds to make it soft and warm it up slightly.
- Add the gouda, salt, pepper, paprika or cayenne pepper, and melted butter. Process for 1-2 minutes at intervals to blend everything. Adjust seasoning as per taste and add a dash of milk or cream for a smoother and runnier texture.
- Store refrigerated for up to 1 to 2 weeks in an airtight container.
- For easier spreading, let the spread go to room temperature for about 20 minutes, before using. Enjoy!
