- Place the chickpeas, garlic, nut butter, cheese and lemon juice in a food processor and process until smooth. Slowly drizzle in olive oil with the processor running. Add water by the tablespoon between pulses until the desired creamy texture.
- Season to taste with paprika, salt and pepper. Taste and adjust with more lemon juice to taste. You can also add more olive oil for a smoother, creamier texture.
- Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl and sprinkle with some extra paprika. Drizzle with some olive oil and serve with warm flatbread, vegetables, crackers or
use as a spread on bread or sandwiches
